Tribute to Geoff by Mark Hyland at Celebration of Life

Created by Nik 27 days ago

Mark Hyland, CEO of Handi Quilter in Salt Lake City, Utah wrote this for Geoff's Celebration of Life.

A warm hello, a smiling voice ringing loud and true.
Questions flowing, with an intentional listening ear, starting with "How are you?"

So good to hear your voice, his sing song voice would ring. Suzanne and the kids, and business, what is new?

Geoff, quite the quintessential English gentlemen.   Dressed in proper shirt and tie, a strong and firm handshake, and that witty twinkle in his eye.

Unwilling to stand still, always moving forward, with high expectations and results.  Moving up, onward, and forward

This man, not large in physical statue, but one whose strength, stamina and energy carried a tremendous impact, of love and devotion.

Blessed by family, friends, colleagues and business associates  around the world. Proud, not boastful, a man of ingenuity and integrity, with strength in wisdom and  those healing humble hands.

We may miss his wit, the twinkling eyes, his smile.   His warmth of kindness, friendship or style.

But a time comes for all, when we leave our loved ones behind, moving forward and onward towards the great Divine.

With memories and laugher, still echoing of days gone past,  may our memories  surround us with love and energy, not too fast.

To my friend the quintessential English gentlemen, looking down on us this day.  My heart is full for showing me a kind and gentle way.
